In cases it is not possible to see a general practitioner (outside GP working hours), but your health does not allow you to wait, on-call doctors are available in Riga and other major cities.
Duty physicians provide care to everyone, regardless of which general practitioner the patient is registered with.
If you need medical assistance, you should first contact your healthcare provider by telephone. You should not go to a medical facility or a physician without an appointment! Patients should also wear a face mask, respirator or visor when entering a medical facility.
