Dental care for children up to the age of 18 is fully covered by the state budget.
Dental hygiene is also paid once a year for children aged 2 to 18 years. Children can receive dental hygiene services twice a year at the age of 7, 11 and 12 years.
The persons stipulated in Section 14 of the Law On Social Protection of the Participants in the Liquidation of the Consequences of the Accident at the Chernobyl Atomic Power Plant and Persons who Suffered due to the Accident at the Chernobyl Atomic Power Plant shall have 50% of their dental expenses covered, and the full amount of expenses for dentures with removable plastic prostheses covered.
The first orthodontic consultation for children up to the age of 18 and orthodontic treatment for persons with congenital cleft jaws up to the age of 22 are covered.
